Security Deposits

For Service Specialties the end of the school year has a tendency to create a lot of turnover as families look for new housing before the new academic year starts.  That means dealing with the issue of security deposits.

Property management companies rarely address the issue with their owners for some unknown reason.  We believe that proper handling of our Tenant’s security deposit I essential to good tenant relations and more importantly, maintaining a good reputation.  Service Specialties is pleased to let you know that we return security deposits more often than not.

At the lease signing, our documentation of the property’s condition is explained to the new tenant.  Additionally, we have many forms explaining what we will charge against their security deposit and exactly how much.  Our goal is not to keep the tenant’s security deposit but to get your property returned to us in fully leasable condition so no time is lost in getting in re-rented.
